Victor Chai Victor is currently in his final semester at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) majoring in Aerospace Electronic and minor in Business Administration. He is the President of ERAU's Association of Technological - ASIA (ATD-ASIA). During school breaks, he enjoys traveling around America and his favorites are New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, Minneapolis and Philadelphia. |
Wayne Loong Wayne is currently a sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) majoring in Aerospace Engineering. At ERAU, he is the project coordinator for both the Association of Technological - ASIA (ATD-ASIA) and Singapore International Aerospace Association. He also plays an active role in ERAU?s International Student Services Team in promoting the understanding of international cultures and religions. His pursuit of a degree in Aeronautical Engineering has been very interesting so far because he says that the math and physics that are involved are quite challenging and stimulating. He hopes to obtain an internship with aero-related companies like Boeing, Rolls Royce, Gulfstream, etc. Apart from being an extremely busy student, he is alsoa drummer in a band that he formed and enjoys jamming with his bandmates. |

Hui Lin Chin Hui Lin is an alumna from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). She obtained her B.Sc in Computer Science. a double degree in Business Administration (Finance) and a Master of Information Systems Management from CMU. Shi Wei Liow (Leader) Shi Wei is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and expects to graduate in May 2008. He is the Vice President of ERAU?s Association of Technological Development - Asia (ATD-ASIA), an active member of the Singapore International Aerospace Association (SIAA) as well as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). He plays the piano and violin and has performed in various concerts. He plans to pursue a minor in music. He swims, plays volleyball, enjoys extreme sports. He believes that the education system in the U.S. provides opportunities for a person to realize his true potential. He encourages Malaysian students to attend Experiences to find out about the educational and enrichment opportunities the U.S. education system has to offer. |
Sian Mei Yeoh Sian Mei is currently an undergraduate sophomore at Northwestern University, majoring in Chemical Engineering. She is serving as the Social Co-Chair for the Malaysian Student Association (Cilipadi). She finds joy in volunteering but she wished that she had more time to be more active in volunteer groups. Her other interests include traveling to new places and meeting new people. |

Ting Sen Wang Ting Sen is currently an undergraduate sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and hopes to graduate in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. At the moment, he is the treasurer for Association Technological Development-Asia (ATD-ASIA) at ERAU. He is a very active scout and is a member of the Petaling District Training Team as well as the district Rover Team. He has been involved in many major events such as district camps and PC Fairs. He has also contributed to the tsunami relief effort. Ting Sen was also a participant at the World Scout Jamboree 2003/04 in Thailand. |
Chi Hoong Ng Chi Hoong is currently in his fourth semester in the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) at Sunway University College. He is majoring in Finance and plans to transfer to the U.S. before the spring of next year. He is currently the president of the ADTP student committee. His interests are travelling and playing online games. He hopes to be able to travel to many different countries in the near future. | |

Peng Zhir How How Peng Zhir is currently an undergraduate sophomore at Taylor's College American Degree Program (Taylor's ADP), majoring in Actuarial Science. He is planning to transfer by January 2007 thus his university applications are still in progress. He is looking applying to University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Michigan State University. He is currently the present President for the Business Entrepreneurship Society and a committee member in the Student Council of Taylor's ADP. His interests are traveling and experiencing the different cultures of the world. |
Zhao Ming Lim Zhao Ming is currently a junior majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Psychology and Computer Science at Northern Arizona University. He is planning to transfer to Illinois Institute of Technology next fall. He was the co-founder of the American University Program (AUP) Society at Inti College, Subang Jaya. He is a strong supporter of open source ideologies and wants to spread its goodness to all. He hopes to dabble into the wireless and data networks technologies in the future. |

Dexter Cheong Dexter is currently studying at the American Degree Program (ADP) at Taylor's college. He's a very active individual who takes it to the edge when it comes to anything that helps achieve his dream. He also enjoys meeting and interacting with people. He is currently the Vice President of Culture Society, Vice President of the Members' Development and Welfare Department of the Business Entrepreneurship Society and also the ADP representative of the student council. He is actively involved in most of events organized in ADP. |

Farah Hanna Mohd Alkaf
(Leader) Farah is currently an undergraduate junior majoring in Journalism at Northwestern University. She serves as the Public Relations Chair for the Malaysian Students Association, webmaster for the campus literary magazine, and mentor to first-year Asian/Asian American students. She also writes for several on-campus publications and is a freelance web designer currently working with a non-profit organization designed to help eliminate poverty in Africa. Farah is affiliated with the Star, Malaysia's premier English daily as an active member of their young journalist program, BRATs, since 2001. She is the founding president of the American University Program Society in INTI College. In the past, she has also been competitively involved in dancing, singing, debating, acting and public speaking. She looks forward to building a career out of her passion for words. |
Shin Yee Shin Yee is currently in her fourth year of studies with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology/Anthropology at Goshen College. She will be graduating in December 2006. Shin Yee transfered from KDU College, PJ in the Spring of 2005. At KDU College, Shin Yee was a valedictorian of the Class of 2004. She is passionate about volunteering and is a regular volunteer at a healthcare center in Indiana. She will also be participating in a mission trip to Belarus this April to commemorate the Chernobyl disaster. Her hope and vision is to be able to help the children in the world. |

Jing Han Soh Jing Han is currently an undergraduate sophomore at Gustavus Adolphus College, Minnesota. She transferred from INTI College Subang Jaya early this year. At INTI, she was the Vice President of the American Universities Program (AUP) Society. She enjoys Gustavus Adolphus as a liberal art college as it allows her to experience and learn different things in life other than her primary major of Mathematics/Physics. Some of the classes she is currently enrolled in include Japanese and Interpreting Spring Landscape. In her free time, she likes to travel and contribute to the community. She is currently part of the committee that is organizing an international night at an elementary school near Gustavus. She's actively involved in teaching at this school from time to time and is proud to represent Malaysia there. |
Su Yuen Chin Su Yuen has just completed her Cambridge "A" Levels at INTI College Subang Jaya. She intends to pursue a double degree in Computer Science and Business Marketing. In secondary school, she was the third prize winner in the Sony Science Education Awards 2003 and the second prize winner in the Telekom Smart School Pertandingan Jejak Siber Bestari 2002. At INTI, she was the president of the Circle K Club, editor-in-chief of the college magazine, vice president of the English Language Society and a volunteer for projects by the Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur. She is currently undergoing an internship as a graphic designer with an advertising company and hopes to one day create successful video games. | |

Andrew Gooi Andrew Gooi is currently a junior majoring in Civil Engineering at Northern Arizona University. He was involved in drama and video productions back in INTI College Subang Jaya during the 2004 to 2005 period. Jian Huar Lock Jian Huar is a fifth semester student in the American Transfer Degree Program at INTI College Subang Jaya (ICSJ). He is majoring in actuarial science and will be furthering his studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this coming August, 2006. At ICSJ, he spent some of his free time helping out in organizing events such as orientation nites and prom nites. Prior to studying in ICSJ, Jian Huar took and completed the Cambridge "A" Levels at Sunway University College. He was the vice-president of the Sunway University College swimming club and also the treasurer and writer for the Sunway University College's editorial board. He spents his free time with a wide variety of activities from reading to sports and to other forms of relaxation such as movies and video games. |

Li Mei Foong Li Mei has just completed her Certificate of Pre-University Studies at Tunku Abdul Rahman College. She would be attending University of Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) for a degree course in either Mass Comm or Psychology. A regular contributor for The Sun U! (a monthly pull-out by The Sun Newspaper for college and university students), Li Mei claimed that her biggest contribution is her editor's sky-rocketing blood pressure. She is a loyal fan of Terry Pratchett's novels, bohemian accesories, Johnny Depp and Indian culture. Currently plotting on ways to land in the States, Li Mei has her eyes on the Au Pair Program. |

Soo Chern Yap (Leader) Sue Chern is currently an undergraduate junior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and will graduate in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. At the moment, she is assisting a professor in the Florida Space Weather Learning, Training, and Research Program (SWELTR). She is glad to be a part of the Experiences 2006 Kuala Lumpur team. It has been great fun to work side by side with the committee. |
Joyce Tagal Joyce is a freshman at Yale University. She hails from Kuching, Sarawak and is interested in helping to motivate young Malaysians to be proactive about their future and career. She is part of Tinkosong.com which is a website dedicated to disseminating information to the teens of Malaysia about study abroad opportunities, scholarships and exchange programs. |

Caryn Kong Caryn is currently in her second semester in the American Degree Foundation Program, INTEC, UiTM. She is currently the vice president of the American Top University Students' Association (ATUSA). She will be majoring in Biology and enjoys contributing to the welfare of those in need. |
Jasween Maan Jasween is currently studying the American University Program (AUP) at INTI College Subang Jaya and will be leaving for US this coming Fall. She is majoring in Chemical Engineering and wishes to get into the Oil and Gas field later on. She is the Public Relations Officer of INTIMA, the student government of INTI College and is also the organizing chairperson of a major event in the college, INTI's 20 th Anniversary Celebration Carnival. Chen Chow Yeoh (Leader) Chen Chow obtained his B.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in 2005 with triple minors in Industrial System & IT, Information Science and Engineering Management. He has been admitted to Stanford University for Master's in Management Science & Eng. He is currently working at Accenture as an analyst. Syamsul Hasran Syamsul is a computer science alumni from University of Southern California. He completed the A-Levels at Sunway University College for his preparatory program. In April 2003, he founded The Worldwide Malaysian Students Network (http://www.recom.org) which provided a platform for fellow Malaysian students and young professionals worldwide to network and work together towards building a united Malaysia. As of now, the site has close to 4400 members and more than 5 million web hits. |

Munir Sulaiman Munir is an alumnus from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (UMNTC). He obtained his Bsc in Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Engineering minor in 2005. He was the President of Malaysian Student Association in UMNTC and was very active organizing activities such as Malaysian Night and Midwest Games 2004. Dahlia Bock (Leader) Dahlia is currently a senior undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) majoring in Computer Science. She was the President of BUDAYA, a Malaysian Student Association at CMU in 2004 and was responsible for the welfare of more than 70 Malaysians at Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh. Dahlia was an intern at a non-profit engineering organization in Texas called Missionary Tech in the summer of 2004. This past summer, she joined Intel Malaysia as an intern with the IT Innovation Center at Cyberjaya. She enjoys playing music and traveling. |
Christi Toa Christi is currently studying the American University Program (AUP) at INTI College Subang Jaya and will be leaving for US this coming Fall. He is intending to major in Actuarial Science and Computer Science and will be going to University of Nebraska-Lincoln to pursue his dreams.
